Museum and outdoor area with nice hiking trails in beautiful surroundings. It includes, among other things, a pharmacy museum and an agricultural museum. The revolving bleachers of Närpes Theatre and the set pieces belonging to the play performed this season are also located here.

Fotoutställningen Från tystnad, en stock per gång är Minna-Marika Lindströms hyllning till Österbottens allmogekultur, traditionella byggmetoder och förflutet liv. Historien berättas genom flyttnings- och renoveringsprojektet av en mangårds- och loftbyggnad.
Utställningen lyfter fram kulturvärden som i tysthet försvinner och vikten av att bevara dem.
Närheten till havet har präglat Närpesborna i alla tider och att leka och simma i och vid vattnet är något som de flesta barn, och vuxna, njuter av och i Närpes finns många stränder där hela familjen kan koppla av med bad eller fiske. Vid Fagerö finns restaurang Seaside nära stranden och där kan man förutom att svalka sig med glass eller stilla sin hunger efter en dag på stranden också spela minigolf, beachvolley eller hyra SUP brädor.
Närpes had an authoress who wrote songs that were widely sung throughout the 19th century and well into the 20th century. It was Maria Berg, or Pali-Maj as she was generally called. To this day you can find her songs in collections of poetry and anthologies, for example in the anthology Nordisk kvinnolitteratur (Nordic women's literature), where she is mentioned as an interesting woman among the folk writers in Finland.
